Every team here has a calendar address. You subscribe to it once and your calendar app does the rest — but calendar apps all behave a little differently, so here is the detail.

Adding a calendar

Open your team's page and use one of the four buttons. Pick the one that matches where your calendar actually lives, not the device you happen to be holding.

Apple Calendar
Tap the button and iOS or macOS asks which account to put the subscription in. Any of them will do. On a Mac the same button opens Calendar directly.
Google Calendar
Tap the button and confirm when Google asks whether to add the calendar. This works on a phone as well as on a computer. The matches land in your Google account, so they appear everywhere you are signed in — with one Android caveat, below.
Microsoft Outlook
The Outlook application on a Mac or PC, and Outlook on the web for a work or school Microsoft 365 account. The button hands the address straight to the app.
Outlook.com / Hotmail
For a personal Microsoft account — the one you sign into at outlook.com, hotmail.com or live.com. It is a different Outlook living at a different address, which is why it gets its own button. If one of the two says you are not signed in, try the other.

Subscribe, never download. Some apps offer to save the .ics file instead. That gives you a snapshot of today that never changes again — which throws away the entire point. Use the button, or the manual setup page linked from your team's page.

Android needs one extra tap

This one surprises people. You add the calendar, it shows up fine at calendar.google.com, and then the Google Calendar app on your phone acts as though nothing happened.

Nothing is broken. The Android app keeps its own list of which calendars it bothers to sync, and a newly subscribed one starts off outside that list. To let it in, open the Google Calendar app → Menu → Settings, find your team's calendar in the list, and switch Sync on. Then go back to the menu and tick the box next to its name so it is actually drawn on the grid.

Give it a minute. After switching sync on, the matches can take a few minutes to appear. Pulling down to refresh the month view usually hurries it along.

How often it updates

We refresh the fixtures several times a day. How quickly that reaches you is decided by your calendar app, not by us — and they differ a lot:

  • Apple Calendar Within minutes. You can pick the interval per calendar in its settings.
  • Microsoft Outlook Usually within a day.
  • Google Calendar Anywhere from a few hours to about a week. Google decides when to re-read the feed and nothing on our side can hurry it.

If a kickoff moved and your calendar still shows the old time, this is almost always why. Removing the calendar and adding it again forces a fresh read.

What's included

Twelve competitions, listed on the front page. A team's calendar carries its matches in every competition we cover, so a Premier League team's feed also holds its Champions League nights. Domestic cups, the Europa and Conference Leagues and friendlies are not in there today.

Matches are published in UTC and your calendar converts them to wherever you are. Fixtures scheduled by date but without a confirmed kickoff time arrive as all-day entries and become a real time slot by themselves once the time is announced.

Removing a calendar

Delete the subscribed calendar in your calendar app and every match goes with it. There is no account here, so there is nothing to cancel and nobody to tell.
